Apex Meridian Group LLC (“we”, “us”) operates VGC Browser and vgcbrowser.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. It does not cover the content inside the browser profiles you create — that data stays under your control (locally and, if you enable it, in your encrypted cloud sync).

1. Information we collect

• Account data: the email address and optional display name you register (authentication is handled by Supabase).
• Payment data: when you subscribe, payment is processed by PayPal and/or Stripe. They receive your payment details; we receive a confirmation, plan, and the last digits of the method — we never store full card numbers.
• Usage & technical data: basic logs (IP, browser, timestamps, app version) needed to run and secure the Service.

2. How we use it

• To create your account, deliver the software, and sync your profiles when you sign in;
• To process payments, renewals and refunds;
• To provide support, secure the Service, prevent abuse, and comply with law.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us operate — hosting, authentication (Supabase), and payment processors (PayPal, Stripe) — and where required by law or to protect our rights. We may share data in a business transfer (e.g., merger).

4. Data retention

We keep account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as required for legal, tax and accounting purposes, then delete or anonymize them.

5. Security

We use encryption in transit (TLS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g., California/CCPA, or GDPR regions) you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and opt out of any “sale” (we don’t sell data). Email us to exercise these rights; we respond within the time required by law.
